Second east Texas church vandalized with racist graffiti

NESBITT, TX (KSLA) - Harrison County authorities say the racist graffiti painted on an east Texas church is a "hate crime."

Authorities say vandals spray painted KKK on the sign and building of the Center Hill Free Will Baptist Church in Nesbitt, near Marshall. They believe the incident happened late Friday night.

This is the second such incident to hit an east Texas church in as many weeks. Back in June, another church in east Marshall was defaced with Klan graffiti.

Both cases are being investigated by the Harrison County Sheriff's Office.
