SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport Police think the same man is responsible for robbing two Circle K stores this past weekend.

The first robbery happened at the store in the 8500 block of Youree Drive on June 13. The store down the road in the 9000 block of Youree Drive was hit two days later.

In both cases, a white male walked into the store talking on a cell phone. He then walked to the register with his items, showed the clerk a gun, demanded money, then fled the store.

A K-9 came in but lost the scent behind the store. Police think the robber may have had someone waiting for him in a nearby car.

The suspect is described as a fair-skinned white male in his 20's and is about 5'9" tall. He's got a medium build with a goatee. He was wearing a ball cap, blue jeans and a t-shirt.

Anyone with information on this robbery should call the Tactical Robbery Unit at 673-6955 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
