SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Police are still searching for suspects in a pair of Shreveport shootings.

The first happened Friday in the 3100 block of Desoto Street. Neighbors say someone shot a 16-year-old girl in the leg as she walked with a group of friends. Medics took the girl to the hospital. Police are still trying to determe if the gunman intended to shoot her, or someone else.

The second shooting happened over the weekend. Police say 17-year old Malcolm Morris survived having 10 rounds shot at him from what's described as multiple gunmen on Woodrow Street in Shreveport. Police say the men drove up to Morris, along with two of his friends, and fired shots from a dark blue Ford Crown Victoria with primer spots. Investigators say the shooting stemmed from an on-going dispute.
