A gun battle in Shreveport neighborhood late Friday morning sent one person to the hospital.
Shreveport Police say a group of males went to a home in the 2600 block of Murray Street to fight with another group of males in what police call an ongoing argument.
According to police, one man started shooting at the house. Someone inside the residence then began shooting at the group outside, hitting 19-year-old Travis Alexander in the arm.
Police say there were small children inside the home during the shooting, but there are no reports of any other injuries.
Alexander was driven to LSU Hospital with what police call a non-life threatening injury.
So far there have been no arrests.
