Police in Texarkana, Arkansas have arrested three people involved in a shooting last month, and continue to look for suspects in another pair of unrelated shootings.
Eighteen-year-old James Byrd, 22-year-old Eddie Hall and 18-year-old James Bradley, all of Texarkana, face charges in a shooting that happened on April 27th on East 22nd Street. A juvenile is also wanted by police.
One of the victims, Jarius Daniels, was seriously injured in that shooting.
All three suspects are charged with 1st degree battery, engaging in violent criminal activity and unlawful discharge of a weapon from a vehicle.
Texarkana Police continue to search for 28-year-old Jarius Weekly. He's wanted for a shooting outside a club on East 9th Street back on April 29. Police say the two victims were talking in the parking lot of the Paradise Club when Weekly drove up in an older model gold Cadillac and started shooting. He's wanted on felony counts of aggravated assault and firing a weapon from a vehicle.
The third shooting happened just days later on May 1. Police say the victims had just repossessed a car from Soper's trailer park on East Street and were driving north on Highway 71 when 59-year-old Isiah Baker began chasing them. Police say Baker shot at them several times before turning off the highway. No one was injured.
Baker is wanted on felony warrants for aggravated assault and firing a weapon from a vehicle.
