Caddo Deputies Arrest Man On Burglary, Stalking Charges

A Caddo Parish man faces charges of burglary and stalking after he was found inside a home with a knife.
The Caddo Sheriff's Office says deputies went to the 1200 block of Dutton Road Thursday afternoon after a homeowner called and found 29-year-old Tobias Ward hiding inside a closet holding a knife.
The sheriff's office says Ward ran from the home after the homeowner called 911. Deputies responding to the call caught Ward near the home.
Authorities say Ward once stayed at the home he was found in. He was arrested just over a week ago for breaking into the home. He's also accused of making unsolicited phone calls to the homeowner.
Ward remains in the Caddo Correctional Center on charges of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling, stalking, and entering and remaining. No bond has been set.
