Sevier County Deputies Arrest Four In Meth Lab Drug Raid

Sevier County authorities have made a dent in illegal drug activity.

Police raided a home off Highway 71 Thursday afternoon just outside the city limits of DeQueen. Authorities say they arrested four people who were involved in the cooking process of a meth lab.

Police in that part of the state have been working with Arkansas State Police to address the meth problem.

Thursday's raid was the result of information from an informant for state police.

Those arrested , Dennis and Sheila Pogue, Jamie Wake, and Donna Rowe, were charged with manufacture of a controlled substance as well as other charges.
