Shreveport Man Trying To Break Up Fight Stabbed In Chest

A man trying to break up a neighborhood fight is fighting for his life after being stabbed in the chest.
Shreveport Police say the fight started when 22-year-old Utopia Roberson tried to hit another woman with an iron pipe, and then other family members jumped in.
Another woman pulled out a knife and started swinging it, stabbing 24-year-old Delarrius Hunter once in the chest, and 38-year-old Linda Terry once three times in the arm.
Hunter was taken to LSU Hospital in critical condition.
Terry was taken to Willis-Knighton North with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say there had been problems between the women for the last few weeks.
Police have arrested and charged Terry for aggravated battery, Roberson for simple battery and aggravated assault, and 21-year-old Germeika Roberson with simple battery.
The woman suspected of actually stabbing Hunter has not been charged yet because police say it appears she was trying to defend herself.
The case is still under investigation
