Man In Critical Condition After Trying To Break Up Neighborhood Fight

"There was like a lot of talking, cussing, and then they started swinging."
Neighbors looked on as Shreveport Police tried to put the pieces together of a stabbing at the corner of West 72nd and Wallace. Police say the stabbing happened just before 4 Thursday, and was the result of some bad blood between two families.
"This appears to be some kind of for the last couple of weeks. They've been fighting but nobody has called the cops until now."
Neighbors tell us it all started when one woman, 22 year old Utopia Roberson, tried to attack another woman with an iron pipe. And that's when neighbors say family members from both sides jumped in. "That's when one sister went and got her mama, and tried to stop it, but she got stabbed in the middle of it." Police say during the fight, one of the women, pulled out a knife in self defense, and began swinging it. A man trying to break up the fight, 24 year old Delarrius Hunter, was stabbed in the chest.hunter was taken to lLSU Medical Center, in critical condition. Another woman involved, l38 year old Linda Terry, was stabbed three times in the arm, she was taken to willis knighton north and is expected to be ok.
