Bossier Sheriff's deputies arrested a man on DWI charges after they saw him going the wrong way on a highway. Deputies say 61-year-old Alvin Woods was going the wrong way on Highway 2 near Highway 157 in Plain Dealing Thursday. Deputies say Woods didn't stop when they first tried to pull him over. When he was stopped, deputies say he failed the field sobriety test. They say he registered a .212 on the intoxylizer test, more than twice the legal limit. Woods is charged with driving while intoxicated, open container, and going the wrong way on a one-way road.
