Shreveport Man Convicted Of Internet Crime

Guilty is the verdict for a Shreveport man.  Jimmy Yates was convicted for sending lewd messages to a teen girl online. Yates, a former employee of the Rutherford house,  was actually communicating with an undercover investigator with Northwest Louisiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.  At the time of his arrest, detectives say Yates had images of young girls, some pornographic, on his computer. Yates could face up to seven years in prison.
