Five people are dead and one in is in serious condition after a three car wreck in Shelby County Tuesday.
It happened about five o'clock Tuesday evening on Highway 96 between Teneha and Center.
Michael Neal of the Texas Department of Public Safety says a Nissan pickup crossed the center line and crashed head on into a Lincoln. The Lincoln then spun sideways and crashed into a Chevy pickup.
The driver of the Nissan, Sonya Fincher, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Four people in the Lincoln were also killed. They've been identified as 21-year-old Raymond Soto, 20-year-old Adam Heady, two-year-old Raymond Soto, Jr., and 24-year-old Cameron Rolland.
A fifth passenger in the Lincoln, 22-year-old Harold Heady, was airlifted to LSU Hospital and was last listed in serious condition.
The driver of the Chevy, 49-year-old Clifford Evans, was taken to the hospital with only minor injuries.
