A spokesperson at Shreveport's General Motors Truck Plant says the manufacturing of H3 Hummers are on hold, but this time it's not their fault.
Officials say the company that makes the axles that go into the popular H3's and the H3T's, the new pick-up truck, is on strike.
Without the critical part, they can't make the trucks.
They say they're focusing instead on the making of the Chevrolet Colorado's and GMC Canyons. GM says buyers shouldn't worry. There are plently of H3's already built and ready to be sold.
