Some Truckers Won't Strike

Truck Drivers all over the country are expected to strike at midnight ( March 31 ) to protest the rising cost of diesel fuel. Some truckers complain that it takes several hundred dollars and in some cases almost a grand to fill up their tanks, and many times what they get paid for their haul, doesn't cover the cost of fuel. While many drivers want to join in on the strike some say they simply can't afford to sit still for three days. Passing through Shreveport, Jason Alexandria tells News 12 he'd rather get home to see his family than park his rig.
Truck drivers are also frustrated with what they consider the high cost of registration.
