Police Identify Suspect in Double Shooting in Shreveport

Shreveport police have obtained a first degree murder warrant for a 21 year old man who they believe shot two people a week ago.

They're now asking the public for help in locating Jecorey Bryant.

Police believe Bryant shot and killed John Casabonne, 31, and critically wounded April Goss, 31. They were found lying on the ground near E. 65th and Willard streets around 2 a. m. last Friday after officers responded to a report of a shooting.

Police say Casabonne had been shot in the head and was already dead from his wounds.  Goss remains in the hospital with what officers at the scene said could be paralyzing injuries.

Anyone who knows where police can find Jecorey Bryant is asked to call detectives at (318) 673-6955, or Shreveport Crimestoppers at (318) 673-7373.
