Texarkana Bank Robber Runs From Police, Eventually Gives Up

A suspected bank robber apologized for his actions Monday afternoon just after he gave himself up to Texarkana police.
According to police, Jesse Evans is accused of robbing the Century Bank on West Seventh Street.
Police say after entering the bank with a gun and demanding money, the robber took off. But a witness stayed right behind him in her own car and called police.
Police picked up the chase which eventuall ended on Interstate 30 when Evans allegedly bailed out of his car, eventually surrendering to police.
