England died from his injuries.

Shreveport police are investigating a stabbing at an apartment complex in which the victim used a cellphone to call for help during the attack.
Police found the 24 year old man around 8 a. m. Monday, lying on a neighbor's doorstep at the Haystack Apartments in the 7000 block of Fern Avenue. They say he had been stabbed multiple times.
The victim's girlfriend also was there, covered in blood and attempting to perform CPR on him, police said. She told officers she rushed home after receiving a call from her boyfriend, saying he was being attacked.
"He called her and said he was being stabbed," said Lt. Kim Price, "but he did not release who was doing it."
Price said she's not sure who called 911. Paramedics arrived and continued CPR before taking the man to a hospital.
In the meantime, neighbors began to gather, wondering what the commotion was about, as detectives sifted through his apartment. However, Price said the information is sketchy.
"We (know who) we're looking for but we're not prepared to relase that at this time," she said. "Other than that, there's not really much I can tell you. The motive is still questionable as well."
Price said it's likely the victim knew his attacker. He was in extremely critical condition when he was rushed into surgery, she said.
