Two Shreveport Shootings Minutes Apart Leave One Man Dead

Shootings broke out across the streets of Shreveport Friday night within 20 minutes of each other.
The first resulted in a man killed on the 1900 block of Patzman.
Police arrested 23-year-old Kenneth Palmer of Shreveport.
Officers say he approached two men and shot them.
First responders rushed Brandon Robinson and Shelton Banks to LSU Hospital. Robinson was pronounced dead and at last work Banks was in critical condition.
Minutes later just after midnight, a cab driver found two men shot in a vacant lot on the 2900 block of Penick Street.
Officers say the two men shot each other.
Paramedics took both men to LSU Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police list the suspect as 33-year-old Randy Bennett of Shreveport.
They say Luther McDuffey was the victim in the altercation.
Both men unnderwent surgery on Saturday today.

    The Mississippi Highway Patrol is looking for a driver who ran away from the scene of a deadly crash in George County. Three children were killed in the crash. Troopers said a green 2003 Kia Optima was heading east on Highway 198, east of Depot Road, shortly before 4 p.m. on Saturday.
