A Shreveport attorney explains the legal aspects behind the Jena 6 case. Larry English says the D.A., Reed Walter, is simply doing his job in pursuing this case to the fullest extent of the law. He says it's up to the judge to make key decisions in the case. He adds, this case shouldn't have ever left Jena High School in that the students should have been disciplined there rather than in court. He adds, legally Mychal Bell should not be in jail. Rather as a juvenile he should have been released into the custody of his parents.
