A shooting at a motel in Longview, Texas Wednesday night has marked the city's third homicide of the year.
Police were called to the 3100 block of Estes Parkway at the Express Inn in Longview just after eight Thursday night.
After arriving on scene, police found 45-year-old Gregory Connolly dead from a gunshot wound and his son Jesse connolly with a bruised hand.
According to reports, two men walked into the room where the Connolly's were and started arguing with them.
Police then say one of the men then pulled out a gun and struck Jesse Connoly on the hand and shot Gregory Connoly. Both men then fled the scene.
One suspect, William Wilson, was later caught and arrested.
He has been charged with tampering with physical evidence.
The other suspect, 33-year-old Micheal Edward Brown is still on the loose.
Two warrants have been issued for his arrest for murder and aggravated assault.
