Frederick J. White, III, M.D., has been a practicing cardiologist since 1988. A native of El Dorado, Arkansas, Dr. White attended medical school at the Louisiana State University Medical School in Shreveport. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. His fellowship in cardiology was completed at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Dr. White is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Cardiovascular Subspecialty Board. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and the American College of Chest Physicians.
During 1996-97, he served as the Vice-Chief of Medicine for Willis-Knighton Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was the President of the Shreveport Medical Society during 1997-1998. He is a member of the medical staff of the facilities in the Willis-Knighton Health System.
