Do you have trouble finding the remote you need? Or perhaps your trouble is knowing which remote goes to which electronic. This week's "Does It Work?" product could solve both of those household problems. But, "Does It Work?"

The Jumbo Universal Remote by Innovage Products is about 11 inches long and 5 inches wide. It's the biggest remote you've ever seen. On the package it say it "replaces all your remotes with one convenient unit." Lots of remotes do that. This one handles up to eight product, but none is as big as this one.

It take two AA batteries. And like most universal remotes, this one comes with a series of codes you punch in to get it to take over the duties of your old remotes. All the usual brands are represented along with several you've probably never heard of. We got it to work with the TV, a DVD/VCR combo and it even operated the cable company's DVR. There wasn't a code listed, but the unit's "code search" button did the trick. It didn't work all the DVR functions, but it doesn't claim to either. We considered this a bonus.

As a universal remote, it operated as good as many basic universal remotes. The plus on this one is the size of the buttons and the unit itself. If you have vision problems. You'll love the big buttons. We wished the buttons were illuminated, but you'll be able to see them. As for size, we tried to lose this remote in the cushions of the couch. Impossible. It's just too big.

"Does It Work?" We give the Jumbo Universal Remote a "yes." We got the Jumbo Universal Remote at Tyler's Bed, Bath & Beyond for $14.99.
