Military To Replace Fallen Soldier's Stolen Medals

LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) - The Army says it'll replace the service medals stolen from the Lubbock family of a soldier who died in Iraq last March.
   The Purple Heart and a Bronze Star were given to Army Private First Class Ricky Salas Junior. They were taken during a New Year's Eve burglary at the Lubbock home of his mother, Brenda Robertson.Robertson says Army officers in Germany told her sister, Rhonda Williams, that the medals will be restored in a ceremony at Williams' home in Crosbyton. Salas was killed in an explosion while at the wheel of a Humvee in the Iraqi city of Mosul last March.
