This recipe has been in my family since I can remember. We all started eating it at an early age, and we all learned how to make it at a very early age...it's just that simple.
We call it "frozen dessert", and the recipe is elementary. Start with one bag of large marshmallows, and you cut them into quarters. Now, this gets sticky, so have a wet towel handy. I think we learned to make this at such a young age, because it kept us busy! Now, you can use the mini marshmallows, but they won't stick as well. Once your pan is full of pieces of marshmallow, you want to add one container...ounces of heavy whipping cream and one can of drained crushed pineapple. Mix all of the ingredients together and refrigerate. It's best to let it sit overnight so all of the ingredients have time to set. If you'd like, you can even freeze it.
