Magnificent Beef Burgers
It's ok to have red meat occasionally, in moderation. The key to choosing the meat, look for cuts with the least amount of white which indicates fat. When choosing ground beef go for the 8 %, or the 92/8. The 80/20 has too much fat. To make a healthy burger watch out for the toppings. Stick with vegetables to add flavor, avoid mayo and cheeses and other fatty toppings. Steak sauce is a good way to add a kick without adding fat.
- 1 pound 8% ground beef (or patties)
- ½ cup light done right Italian dressing
- Steak Sauce (optional)
