Mexican Bean Duo
Mexican food can be healthy, but you have to make the correct choices. A simple appetizer of dip and chips can have you eating up to 25 grams of fat. This bean duo can be used as a dip or as a stuffing for a bean burrito in a soft taco!
- Bean dip (look for fat free or low fat)
- Salsa (pick your personal flavor)
- Flour tortilla - look for whole wheat
½ cup bean dip
½ cup salsa
½ cup of 2% shredded cheese
¼ cup of chopped onions
Whole wheat flour tortillas.
- Combine salsa, bean dip, and cheese.
- Microwave for 1 minute.
- Spoon on tortillas!
