A private plane had to make an emergency landing at Shreveport Regional Airport early Friday evening.
The twin-engine Duke B-60 originally took off from the Shreveport's Downtown Airport, when the pilot determined he had landing gear issues. The pilot called in an Alert 2, which is a landing emergency, and decided he would take the plane down at Shreveport Regional.
The pilot circled the airport for nearly and hour to burn off fuel.
He then brought the plane down without much incident.
There were a dozen units from the Shreveport Fire Department standing by. The Department has not released a damage report yet, nor any word on injuries.
