Louisiana governor Kathleen Blanco sent her hurricane housing task force director Ret. Col. Bill croft to Shreveport on Thursday.
Croft met with about 65 city and parish officials to let them know the Governor's goals, strategies and priorities on housing Hurricane Katrina and Rita evacuees.
Croft also listened to their concerns about being left "out of the loop" by the Federal Emergency Management Agency when it places several trailers throughout Caddo, Bossier, and other parishes.
Croft tells News 12 FEMA will now work with parishes and cities to make sure they can handle the placement of more trailers in their communities.
