Grambling Students Killed in Car Accident

Two Grambling State University students were killed and two others were injured Friday when a car ran off Interstate 20, struck a tree and caught fire, state police said. University officials said Marquist McCray, of Shreveport, and Marcus D. Watson, of Bastrop, both 20, were pronounced dead at the scene. John R. Dorsey, 19, of Neptune, N.J., was treated and released from a Ruston hospital. Dorsey is a basketball player, the university said. Harold "Jamar" Lewis, 22, of Monroe, suffered severe burns and was transported to the LSU Burn Center in Shreveport. Alcohol was a factor in the accident, state police said.
