SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - A Shreveport teenager has been arrested in connection with an apparent hit-and-run accident that claimed a man's life early Wednesday morning.

Brianna Savannah, 18, is being held in Shreveport City Jail on one count each of felony hit-and-run and driving with a suspended driver's license.

Danny Reed, 54, of Shreveport, was found dead about 3 a.m. in the 1200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive east of an Interstate 49 overpass.

He was declared dead at the scene.

Evidence found at the scene indicates Reed was a victim of a hit-and-run accident, police said.

Investigators now think he was hit by a 2006 Cadillac STS that Savannah was driving.

They found her at her residence in the 3000 block of Lunn Street.

Savannah was arrested at 9:30 a.m. and booked into Shreveport City Jail at 10:15 a.m., records show.
