SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport police are investigating the city's second shooting on Saturday.

A man is dead and a woman was injured following a double shooting in Shreveport's Highland Neighborhood.

Officers got the call just before 10:30 p.m. to  East Olive Street.

Raymond Grant,26, was shot multiple times in the upper body, and a 24-year-old pregnant woman, nine months along, was shot in the arm, according to Shreveport Police Spokesman Cpl. Marcus Hines.

Both victims were transported to the hospital where Grant later died. The woman remains in the hospital but is expected to be okay.

Hines said that investigators think that the pair were sitting inside a vehicle parked in a driveway of a home when a man walked up to the car and began firing inside.

Two kids were also inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting, they were not injured.

The gunman ran away from the scene, police continue to search for the gunman at this time.
