SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Police are searching for a man they believe is connected to a north Shreveport robbery.

It happened July 10th on Spring Street just before 1 o’clock in the morning.

The victim told officers he parked his vehicle in the alleyway, and as he was leaving a man with a low haircut pointed a gun at him and demanded money.

The victim says he gave the suspect some money and two cell phones.

The suspect then ran away and got into what was described as a cream-colored Mercury Grand Marquis.

Friday afternoon, the victim contacted investigators with pictures of the man that robbed him.

Police say the suspect took photos of himself and they automatically uploaded to the victim’s cloud.

If you recognize the man in the photo call the Shreveport Police Department at 318-673-7300 option #3 or 318-673-6955. Those wishing to remain anonymous are asked to contact Shreveport Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373, lockemup.org, or via their app, P3Tips.
