It's the 23rd year of the Manning Passing Academy, and for Archie, Peyton, Eli and Cooper, no one has missed a single minute of the action. It's true they love to interact with the high school and college football players. But it's also true that it gives the Manning's some much-needed family time together.
"Eli is in New York, I live in Denver, Cooper and my dad are in New Orleans. We're pretty spread out," Peyton said. "Obviously, from July 25th through until February, end of January, Eli is tied up. So, we don't get Thanksgiving together or Christmas together. So, this is one of our times together as a family. We were all in New Orleans the other night and got to be with my mom. Eli and I dropped off our kids so my mom is watching them for the weekend. My son, Marshall, is coming up Saturday, so it is a family event for us.
The camp runs through Sunday on Nicholls State's campus. This year the camp attracted over 1,100 high school football players from 46 different states.
