SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Early voting for the Louisiana, April 28th election is over, but ballots may still be mailed in for the election.
Civilian mail ballots will be received until Friday, April 27th until the close of business at 4:30 p.m.
Caddo Registrar of Voters Ernie Roberson says unofficial totals reveal 705 people showed up in person to vote for the Shreveport Proposition Election.
The tax renewals come up every five years with several recurring propositions including street repairs, parks and recreation and employee salaries returning to the ballot.
Election day is Saturday, April 28th for registered voters inside the city limits of Shreveport.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
