Grand jury indicts man for intoxication manslaughter after fatal 2017 crash

GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

A driver has been indicted for intoxication manslaughter after a 2017 crash that killed a 64-year-old woman.

Corie Michael Murray, 27, of Longview, was indicted last week by a Gregg County grand jury.

On Oct. 6, 2017, Murray was traveling northbound in the 3000 block of South Eastman Road in Longview when police say he veered into oncoming traffic.

Murray collided with Tunyion Lanette Andrews, 47. Andrews mother, Billie Griffin Andrews, 64, was a passenger in the vehicle. She later died from injuries received in the crash.
