(WVUE) -

The Pelicans lost their fourth game in the last five outings to drop to 28-25 and hand the Utah Jazz their sixth straight win. Alvin Gentry's team is now eighth in the Western Conference standings.

Jrue Holiday led the team with 28 points while Anthony Davis was held to 15 points on 6-of-16 shooting. Nikola Mirotic started but could only muster 5 points while Emeka Okafor returned to the NBA for the first time since 2013.

Utah's Rodney Hood led all scorers with 30 points as he shot a perfect 4-for-4 from three-point range, contributing to the team's 66.7% night from beyond the arc.

The team will practice Tuesday before returning to action Wednesday against the Pacers at 7 p.m.
