METAIRIE, LA (WVUE) -

An argument during a one-year-old girl's birthday party at a Metairie Chuck E. Cheese's resulted in a woman being pepper-sprayed, according to police. Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Deputies were called to the restaurant, located in the 7000 block of Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Saturday afternoon.

Police say that 19-year-old Breshaw Specer, was attending the party, which was put on by her ex-boyfriend's 39-year-old mother, identified as the little girl's paternal grandmother.

Specer and the grandmother got into an argument and were asked to leave by restaurant management. Sheriff's deputies were called to the business and escorted Specer outside.

Specer waited for the grandmother outside the restaurant. According to police, once the grandmother walked out, she was threatened, then pepper-sprayed by Specer.

Police arrested Specer and booked her with aggravated battery. She was later booked with possession of marijuana after a bag of the drug was found in her bra. On Sunday, she was released from jail after her $500 bond was posted.

This was the second time within that last two months that police were called to that particular establishment following a call of someone being pepper-sprayed. On Oct. 29, 24-year-old Katarian Marshall was taken into custody after police say she was responsible for pepper-spraying five adults and two children following a physical altercation inside the establishment.
