SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - The two recently arrested for allegedly shooting a man outside a Shreveport restaurant already were accused of killing a man in Bossier City.
Alonzo Jerome Spires Jr., 19, of Shreveport, and 17-year-old Devonta Davis, of Bossier City, are to be brought to Caddo Parish to face charges in connection with the shooting in Shreveport .
Those charges arise from the shooting just before 11:30 p.m. July 29 outside El Compadre Mexican Restaurant & Seafood in the 500 block of East Kings Highway.
Police have said that 24-year-old Juan Zuniga was shot twice in his chest when he confronted two men trying to steal his mother's purse in the restaurant parking lot.
In Bossier City, Davis and Spires are accused of fatally shooting 45-year-old Juan Antonio Reyes on Sept. 3 at his residence in the 400 block of Montgomery Street.
Each faces a charge of second-degree murder.
