Motorcyclists bring holiday cheer to Lake Bistineau

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Motorcycle riders from a dozen ArkLaTex clubs rode through with presents and well wishes to children waiting at Lake Bistineau

The ride began at the Downtown Koran store on Highway 527 in South Bossier Parish, then the group was escorted to the lake where a dozen of children were waiting, according to a news release from Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office.

The event was put together by David and Vicki Trent, who are motorcycle club vendors.

At the event, Santa, Mrs. Claus and many elves presented 10 bicycles, scooters, dolls, clothing and many different toys.

Some families were given $100. In total there were four children from Texarkana, three from Vivian, three from Dubuque, one from Shreveport, and one child from Haughton.
