BOSSIER PARISH, LA (KSLA) -

She faces new charges. Now her husband is in hot water as well.

Authorities have filed more charges against the executive director of the Women of Diversity rehab and recovery center.

And now her husband has been arrested as well.

That's because Bossier detectives suspect that 46-year-old Brenda Hills, of the 2600 block of Village Lane in Bossier City, and 50-year-old Jimmie L. Hills misappropriated funds from the Women of Diversity bank account from October 2016 to July 2017 to make nearly $9,000 in personal purchases.

The new charges against her are one count of racketeering and 11 counts of felony theft, the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office reports.

She remains in Bossier Maximum-Security Facility at Plain Dealing, where she was booked after being arrested last week on 88 counts of monetary instrument abuse.

Hills' husband was arrested Wednesday afternoon on one count of racketeering and 11 counts of felony theft.
