TEXARKANA, TX (KSLA) -

A man is behind bars after he allegedly robbed the same Texarkana business two days in a row.

Authorities say 23-year-old Demarco Martin of Texarkana, Arkansas was charged with four separate robberies, two of them happening at the same convenience store back-to-back.

The first robbery happened at the Pasco's Shell, located at 3400 New Boston Road, on Saturday afternoon.

Police alleged that Martin entered the store and got a six-pack of beer from the cooler. As he approached the cash register, he reportedly removed a pocket knife from his pants and demanded that the clerk give him the money from the register.

After being chased down by a customer, officials alleged Martin returned the cash to him and continued to run away.

In addition to this robbery, Detective James Hargrave said that Martin was also responsible for three other robberies that had occurred over the last week in the immediate area.

Martin has now also been charged with the robberies at the Family Dollar Store located at 3003 New Boston Road on August 22, Check into Cash at 2808 New Boston Road on August 25, as well as the first Pasco’s Shell robbery on Friday.

Police say in each of those robberies, Martin allegedly threatened the employee with a pocket knife and demanded money.

Martin is currently being held in the Bi-State Jail on four counts of Aggravated Robbery.

Bond has been set at $100,000 for each charge.
