Shreveport police are searching for two people responsible for the Wednesday night shooting of a man in the parking lot of a beauty shop.

According to Shreveport police, officers responded to the 2900 block of West 70th Street between West Canal Blvd. and Canal Blvd just before midnight.

When officers arrived on scene, they found one man had been shot at least four times. First responders took the man to University Health where he is expected to survive.

The shooting took place in the parking lot of the Nichol$ & Dime$ Hair Design Beauty Shop.

The victim told detectives that two men wearing masks shot him with at least one handgun.

Police are working to determine the circumstances and motive for the shooting.

Officers also responded to another shooting in Shreveport late Wednesday night. The victim in that case is expected to survive as well.
