SPD shares surveillance videos of 14 burglaries, other crimes

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Shreveport police this week released 14 surveillance videos in hopes someone can help them identify those involved.

The videos authorities are sharing include cases as far back as the burglary of a catering truck July 12 to more recent break-ins like the one Feb. 20 at the Diocese of Shreveport.

Authorities urge anyone who recognizes anyone in the videos to contact Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers by calling (318) 673-7373 or visiting the organization’s website, lockemup.org.

In some cases, Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information that leads to an arrest.

    William Huff terrorized Sierra Vista during the spring and summer of 1967. Despite a sentence of 40 years to life, the Arizona Board of Executive Clemency voted to release him from prison into home arrest. Family members of the victims are concerned for the safety of the community, as are new members of the Clemency Board. CBS 5 Investigates videotaped Huff riding a bike through his Tucson neighborhood. There are no restrictions placed on his proximity to children.
