2 teens accused of shooting Hope, AR restaurant

HOPE, AR (KSLA) -

Two teens in Hope, Arkansas are facing charges for allegedly opening fire at a closed restaurant building early Sunday morning.

It happened at around 1:45 a.m. in the 1700 block of Holiday Drive at the old Western Sizzlin building.

When police arrived they say there were numerous people in the Banquet Room at the back of the building. 

After investigating, police arrested a 17-year-old male. Another 16-year-old also turned himself in at the Hope Police Department later that same morning.

Hope police have not released the names or pictures of the teens.

Both teens were held at the Hempstead County Detention Facility by the juvenile intake officer.
