One person is recovering in an ArkLaTex hospital after a road rage incident on Interstate 30 in Texas.
It happened after 5 p.m. on Interstate 30 near mile marker 190 in Bowie County.
Bowie County sheriff's deputies say one driver shot into a vehicle, hitting someone inside the other car.
The victim called the authorities and followed the shooter's car for about 20 miles ending around mile marker 215
Eventually, the victim pulled into a Love's Truck Stop in Leary, Texas, near Texarkana.
The accused gunman into was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault, according to deputies on the scene. The man was traveling with two small dogs. Texarkana Animal Control was called to the scene to take the dogs into custody.
The victim was sent to Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana and is expected to recover.
