BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -

Bond has been set at $75,000 for a Bossier City man accused of having child pornography.

Booking records show 26-year-old Alexander James Louria, of the 5800 block of Bluebonnett Drive, was booked into Bossier Maximum-Security Facility at Plain Dealing at 6:08 p.m. Monday on one count of pornography involving juveniles.

Bossier City police detectives got a warrant for his arrest after being informed by Oswego County, N.Y., law enforcement officers that Louria allegedly had received child pornography online from within their jurisdiction.

Authorities confiscated computers that contained numerous suspected child pornography files when they searched his Bossier City residence.

Louria was booked into Bossier City Jail and later transferred to Bossier Parish Maximum-Security Facility, where he remained Tuesday night.

Bossier City police are continuing their investigation with the assistance of the Bossier City city marshal's office and the Northwest Louisiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
