Police ID suspect in shooting of 14-year-old in Texarkana, TX

TEXARKANA, TX (KSLA) -

Texarkana, Texas, police are searching for a man in connection with a shooting that sent a teenager to the hospital.

Authorities say they have a warrant to arrest 25-year-old Devonta "Vonte" Henderson on a charge of aggravated assault.

He is suspected of shooting a 14-year-old in one of his legs about 5 p.m. Monday in the 2000 block of West 17th Street.

The latest report shows the wounded teenager was in critical condition, authorities said.

Henderson stands 5',5" tall, weighs about 125 pounds and has tattoos on his face and both of his forearms.
