A cold front has passed through the area, delivering early morning rain. Most received around 0.25 - 0.50" of rain. Rain comes to an end by mid-morning with a nice afternoon ahead. The cold front will make afternoon temperatures about 10 degrees cooler than yesterday. Highs will settle in the low to mid 70°s. Expect a cool to chilly AM start Friday with lows in the low 50°s. An upper air disturbance will move through the area during the second half of Friday. This disturbance will trigger isolated thundershowers primarily during the afternoon. The disturbance is out of here in time for your Friday evening and weekend plans. The weekend is looking really nice with temperatures slightly below normal for both Saturday and Sunday. Lots of sunshine is expected over the weekend. By the middle of next week, southerly flow returns, bringing a modest warming trend and bringing some moisture back into the equation. Isolated to scattered PM thundershowers will be possible by the middle of the work week.
