SPD: Online seller robbed, assaulted during exchange

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Shreveport police are investigating after two men reportedly stole a person's wallet and phone after meeting through an online sales app.

It happened about 6:30 p.m. Nov. 30 at Dollar General in the 8100 block of Line Avenue.

Police say the victim met the 2 men on the sales app LetGo, where he was attempting to sell an iPhone 6S Plus.

When the seller arrived to make the transaction, the duo reportedly snatched his phone and wallet then ran toward Pines Apartment complex.

The seller gave chase. The pursuit ended when one of the 2 men punched him in the stomach then ran into Apartment 101, police said.

Authorities have identified one of the suspects as Jordan Jones. He stands 6' 2" tall, has dreadlocks and was wearing a multicolored sweater and gray pants at the time of the alleged theft.

The other suspect reportedly goes by the nickname Lala. He stands 5' 8" tall, has dreadlocks and last was seen wearing a black mock turtleneck sweater, a gray shirt and black pants.
