MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

Many Americans skip the Thanksgiving turkey and head straight to the Black Friday sales.

Walmart is one store that will be jam-packed on Black Friday--one of the busiest times of the year for retail.

“If it weren't for Black Friday, we'd all be in trouble, so I'm glad it’s here; I need it,” shopper Larry Torry said.

This year’s hot items and deals are ready to go.

“The hatch-able Hatchimals is one of the best items,” Walmart co-manager Reginald Anderson said.

Hatchimals are limited in quality, but high in demand. You’ll be unable to find any Hatchimals until Thanksgiving night at Walmart, when they’ll go on sale for $48.88.

If you’re waiting in line for this year’s 13 hottest Black Friday items, which vary from store to store, you’ll get a wristband to control the crowds.

“When the sale starts, we’ll provide each customer with a wristband, so the certain amount that we have, once we run out we’ll just cut it off right there,” Anderson said.

As always, electronics are a big deal this Black Friday.

"Huge this year is the Phillips 55 inch 4K TV,” Anderson said. “It’s on special value for $298.”

A Samsung 50 inch will run you $398. PlayStation 4 bundles are also selling for $249.

If you don’t want to leave the house, Black Friday deals start online at 11:01 p.m. central time. In-store sales start at 6 p.m. Thanksgiving Day.
